Quite simply Rhea feathers are beautiful. They range from pure white to a combination of gray and white to gray with some black thrown in. They are sought after by fly-tiers, mask makers, sculptors, costume designers and floral arrangers.
Sizes will vary from minis to long plumes and the barbules will reach widths of up to five inches. They are a spey fly-tiers dream and are used to successfully catch a variety of species including steelhead, baracuda, snapper, striped bass and more. Rhea feathers make high action flies for big fish.
